Dr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in psychology,
Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in School Psychology and a Doctor of
Psychology (Psy.D.) in Educational Psychology.
Dr. Williams began her career as a school psychologist in the public
schools in 1994 working with preschool children on the autism
spectrum. She continued to practice school psychology focusing on
children with autism and in 2005 joined Newport Mesa Unified School
District at the Harper Preschool Assessment Center as a lead
psychologist and program specialist. In July 2007 she accepted the
position as the Coordinator for autism programs.
Dr. Williams also serves as a part time adjunct faculty with the
California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant
International University in Los Angeles and Irvine, California,
teaching graduate courses to students seeking their doctorate in
educational psychology.
Dr. Williams is currently a licensed educational psychologist,
nationally certified school psychologist and also holds an
administrative credential in the State of California to serve in an
administrative position within the California Public School System.
