Dear Friends and Colleagues of Linda Mook,

I am sure you all have had Linda and her family in your thoughts and prayers over the past week. As indicated to you in my email dated January 3, 2005, plans for the memorial and scholarship fund would be forwarded to you as soon as they were completed. Below are the specific details for the memorial, scholarship fund, and some additional planning and contact information.

Memorial:

The local community memorial will be held:
Date: Wednesday, January 19, 2005
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: Corona del Mar High School – gymnasium
               2101 Eastbluff Drive, Newport Beach, Ca.

The memorial is open to all and we hope that you will be able to join as we celebrate, acknowledge and express our deep appreciation for the wonderful contributions Linda made to the staff, students, families and other members of the Newport-Mesa community.

Scholarship:

A scholarship in the name of “Linda Mook Memorial Scholarship Fund” has been established. Donations to the fund can be processed by:

• Make checks out to the “Linda Mook Memorial Scholarship Fund”

• Checks can be sent to one of the following:

     you can also drop off your donation to the office Monday thru Friday 7:30 a.m-4:30 p.m.

     Attention: Linda Mook Memorial Scholarship Fund

     Costa Mesa, Ca 92626
     you can also drop off your donation to the office Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
      

  3. For school site staff members – give to your school’s N-MFT site representative who will forward it to the Federation office.

Memory Book:

Linda’s family knows how many lives were influenced by her as a friend, teacher, colleague and N-MFT President. If you have an anecdotal story about Linda, and would like to share it with her family, please email it to one of the following contacts and we will see to it her family receives it.
